Who Might Use the Building?
Desirous of sharing this magnificent treasure with the entire community, the Wisconsin Scottish Rite Foundation permits qualified organizations to use the building for meetings, conferences, theatrical productions, concerts, recitals, receptions, workshops, and religious or spiritual activities. The rich décor and carved woodwork that adorns the many rooms provide a perfect backdrop for many community activities.
The Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center is especially suited for cultural, civic, educational, non-profit community service organizations, weddings and religious ceremonies, foundation events and other family-oriented groups.
Everything You Will Need
The building has a spectacular auditorium that can accommodate up to 425 guests, and with its built-in quality sound and lighting systems is particularly suitable for wedding ceremonies and theatrical or musical performances. It is the most beautiful facility of its size in the community.
Numerous conference rooms for accommodating meetings of 2 to 425 are strategically located throughout the building. The magnificent Walter Schroeder Lounge on the main floor, with its more than 30 pieces of original paintings, stained glass windows and statues dating as far back as the 17th century offers a spectacular reception area for up to 250 guests. Meanwhile, just down the hall, the Robert B. Nienow Room can accommodate as many as twelve for more private board meetings.
Our Holz Chapel located on the 2nd floor is available for as many as 200 guests for lectures, religious ceremonies, or community forms. The 3rd floor Tower Room under the Middle Ages tower that gives the building such character is excellent for small meetings, breakout sessions, or temporary public exhibits.
The large, European-style Mahogany Room on the lower level seats up to 350 guests, and includes a beautiful built-in bar and dance floor.
Our exclusive in-house caterers are available to perfect your event with the finest in food and spirits. All meals are prepared on-site to ensure the best of quality.
